Temporary Bologna Tourist Tax Increase 01/04/2025-31/12/2025

The municipality of Bologna, due to the jubilee year, has temporary increased the tourist tax during the period April 1st 2025 – December 31st 2025 and these are the price brackets that will be in force:

 

1.00 – 30.99 euro -> 4.00 euro per person per night.

31.00 – 70.99 euro -> 5.80 euro per person per night.

71.00 – 120.99 euro -> 6.50 euro per person per night.

Above 121.00 euro -> 7.00 euro per person per night.

 

Exemptions from it still the sames:

-People under 14 years old.

-People who live inside the municipality of Bologna.

-People who own a medical document certifying a permanent handicap condition and reporting a percentage of it equal or higher than 80%. If this document was released in Italy, it only need to report the article 3 comma 3 of the law 104/1992.
